STAGS MAINTAIN 100% RECORD AGAINST CRUSADERS

AFC Totton made it four wins from four at the Snows Stadium with a convincing 3-1 victory over Hungerford Town.

The Stags managed to right the wrongs of last season after the Crusaders pulled off the double in the previous campaign.

Luke Hallett came close to breaking the deadlock within the first 10 minutes, forcing Ryan Clarke into a splendid save onto the post following the defender’s header.

Jimmy Ball’s men did take the lead on the 13-minute mark – Declan Rose’s incisive pass fed Tony LEE, who beat the offside trap and rounded the goalkeeper to place the ball into an empty net.

Just before half-time, Totton doubled their tally in superb fashion. The dangerous and tricky Tom Blair cut inside from the left to find Declan ROSE in acres of space roughly 25 yards from goal, before the midfielder picked out a peach of a curled effort into the top corner.

The Stags put the game out of sight in the second half with another beautiful strike.

After Charlie Austin was fouled on the edge of the box, Tony LEE scored his second of the afternoon with a well-placed free-kick into the top-right corner.

The Crusaders found a consolation through Jacob BANCROFT before full-time, after he punished Hallett's defensive mishap.

Totton will look to keep their perfect record intact when they travel to Havant & Waterlooville on Bank Holiday Monday.
