AFC Totton haven’t forgotten about the man that is Craig Feeney, as he puts pen to paper to seal his deal! Writes Jack Clarkson
Craig Feeney is another very popular player at AFC Totton who retains his place with the club. His Stags career has amassed to over 130 appearances, in which he has scored 54 goals. The striker regularly achieves 25+ goals a season and has remained very loyal to the club and turned down the advances of several suitors in the past.
In his interview with the club, Feeney said ‘It was (an easy decision to sign), I’ve been here for 4 or 5 years now, I’ve always been happy here. On the basis of last year, it looked like we were going to be up there and challenge (the title) and with the signings we’ve made it was an easy decision’. Talking about targets for next season and his thoughts on the aspirations of the club, Craig said ‘obviously everyone would love to say we’re going to do this, that and the other, but we just want to go and be where we were last year. We obviously want to push to be at the top of the league and if we are that’s fantastic, we want to push for promotion’.
