Steve, What are your thoughts after the game?
I am relieved to be honest, Riles (Steve Riley) knew all about us and we knew a bit about them, we knew how they would play. The game was scrappy, there was no ebb and flow to it and we were finding it hard to break them down, we could sense that the crowd were getting jittery which added to the tension. Fortunately we got through in the end and got the three points.
Are there any players that you would like single out for praise?
I would like to mention our two young lads that came on as substitutes Matty Brewer and Jake Rawkins, i thought that they did ever so well. It is pleasing to see young players like these two impress just like Jack Atrill did earlier in the season, and of course we must not forget young Jake Burgess who started last night, he has been doing very well and we mustn’t forget that he is still a young lad himself.
