AFC Totton v Didcot Town preview

AFC Totton entertain ‘The Railwaymen’ of Didcot at the Testwood Stadium tomorrow (3pm) still looking to for their first victory of the season.

Manager Steve Hollick has had to contend with injuries to key members of his squad in recent games with Luke Dempsey, Chris Manning, James Roden, Marc Diaper and Mike Gosney all missing last Wednesdays 2-0 defeat at Larkhall.

A disappointing start to the campaign sees the Stags sitting 19th in the table with one point from four games.  The players showed a positive reaction at Larkhall after half time with the Stags creating some good chances as they took the game to their hosts. However, we now need to take that level of performance into tomorrows game and build on it.

Didcot managed by former players Ian Concannon and Jamie Heapy have had a mixed start to the season. They sit 9th in the table with six points, having won two and lost two of their opening four games.

The corresponding fixture last season will live long in the memories of those who were there, trailing 3-1 at half time the Stags came back to win 5-3 on an astonishing evening at the Testwood Stadium.
