AFTER THE POSTPONEMENT of Saturday's Isuzu FA Trophy Third Round encounter between Biggleswade Town and AFC Totton due to the effects of Storm Darragh, the tie has been re-arranged to take place on Tuesday 10 December 2024, kick-off at 7:45pm.
Only one Southern League Premier Division Central match survived the bad weather, in which Spalding United beat Barwell Town 2-1. The result means that the gap between The Waders, currently rooted to the bottom of the table with 10 points from 18 games, has opened up to 12 points since our original Match Preview was written.
Two games went ahead in the Southern League Premier Division South; Sholing won 4-1 at Bracknell Town and Dorchester Town won at home against Hungerford Town 4-2.
The draw for the Fourth Round of the FA Trophy was made on TalkSPORT2 radio on Monday 09 December. The winners of the Third Round tie between Biggleswade Town and AFC Totton will be at home to Oxford City. The Fourth Round tie will take place on Saturday 04 January 2025.
