AFC Totton AFC Totton Pitching In - Partners with Southern Football League

The Stag’s run of wins came to an abrupt end Tuesday evening as they fell to a 4-1 defeat at the hands of a very strong Saints side.

The scoreline didn’t reflect the efforts of the Stags who came close to reducing the deficit on 3 or 4 occasions in the second half. The change in pace from Totton in the last 20 mins saw the Saints having to dig in to defend a number of set pieces and fast, free-flowing play from Totton. The Saints keeper making a number of vital saves for them to keep the scoreline to 4-1. The Stags goal was a penalty converted by Craig Feeney.

Not the result we wanted but another encouraging performance against a very good Saints B Team.

If you were unable to attend you can catch up with the action on Stags Radio Podcast here.

The Stags go again this Saturday as they entertain Eastleigh at the Snows Stadium. Tickets are available online here and you can pay on the gate – but note, due to high attendance numbers already this pre season, please arrive early to avoid long queues.
