AFC Totton are pleased to confirm a dual registration for Tom Lycett with Totton & Eling, writes Jack Clarkson
Tom is an experienced young centre back, who has represented clubs in higher divisions, including Darlington. As a youngster, Tom spent 12 months at Leicester City which was brought to an abrupt end with an unfortunate ankle break. He is a commanding young centre half who made his Conference North league debut at 17 for Darlington in a win against Telford. He scored his 1st senior goal in the same season in a 4-0 win against Northallerton.
Having moved back to home to Southampton after a curtailed season at Mansfield Town’s youth set up due to the Pandemic, Tom has recently spent time on loan at near-neighbours Totton & Eling to gain valuable match fitness and time. Tom is well thought of and possesses a good footballing brain which is helping him to establish himself in the local area once again.
