VOTE FOR YOUR SUPPORTERS' PLAYER OF THE YEAR AND YOUNG PLAYER OF THE YEAR

IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR, AGAIN when the club asks you, loyal AFC Totton fans, to vote for your Supporters’ Player of the Year and Supporters’ Young Player of the Year awards.

With players arriving and departing throughout the season and making a varying number of first team appearances, a straightforward set of criteria have been applied to compile a viable list of candidates for each of these prestigious awards.

In order to qualify for the Player of the Year award, a player must have made a total of at least 10 first team starts across all competitions.

This measure disqualifies the Benjamins — Jefford and Seymour — and the back-up goalkeeper Max Evans, but it allows club captain Mike Carter and his fellow long-term injury victims Declan Rose and Tega Agberhiere to be included.

The criteria are not so strict for the Young Player of the Year award, for which players must have been under 23 years-old when the season began. Ethan Taylor is now a fraction too old to qualify, while Evans and Seymour both make the list.

There are three ways to cast your votes:

• Paper ballot, available in The1886 Stags Bar, the Monarch Suite and the PWI Suite ahead of tonight’s Promotion Play-Off with Dorchester Town;
• Send a direct message to the official AFC Totton Facebook account;
• Email [email protected] — find the website version of this article for a pre-formatted message

One vote in each award category per person. Please cast your votes by the end of Monday 05 May 2025. The winners will be announced at the club’s End of Season Awards Presentation Evening (at a date to be determined) and published on the club’s website and social media platforms.
