The club are very happy to announce that Ben Jefford has signed, writes Jack Clarkson.
Ben joins the Stags as a left back, having previously been at Oxford City, Forest Green Rovers & more locally, Basingstoke Town. Ben brings a wealth of experience, and at just 26 years of age.
Ben has played for AFC Totton this year already, having featured in the Hampshire Invitation Cup, in which he put in some fantastic performances. In his first interview with the club, he said “I didn’t feel out of place in the team” and also “coming in and training with the boys, I knew some anyway, but I got on really well with the gaffer (Glenn Howes) and Woodsy (James Wood) straight from the start”.
Ben is the Stags 3rd official signing for the upcoming season, following Jordan NGalo & Ade Olumuyiwa (both signed from Weymouth FC).
