Run of Form:
The Stags return to the Snows Stadium following a disappointment 3-1 loss in Somerset
against Weston-Super-Mare on Tuesday. Totton hope to get back to the form before their
loss as they were on a 2 game unbeaten run following a well fought draw with Maidenhead
and a dominant win against Hampton & Richmond. Tuesdays’ defeat leaves Totton 14th in
the league on 10 points after 7 games.
Slough come to the Snows Stadium after a heavy defeat to Salisbury, losing 5-1. The result
sees Slough succumbe to their 7th straight defeat in the league, their 8th straight defeat in
all competitions. The poor run of form leaves The Rebels 23rd in the league on 0 points after
7 games.
Previous Meetings:
Last season was a different story, the first game between the two occurred in November
2025 at Sloughs’ ground, Arbour Park. Totton took the lead at half time 2-0 thanks to a
Malachi Linton double on the 4th and 36th minute. However, in the second half Slough
rallied a come back through Jared Myers on 48th minute, Peter Ojemen leveled on the 86th
minute and John Goddard secured the win by converting a penalty on the 89th minute to
seal the victory.
The return match occurred at The Snows Stadium and saw the points shared between the
teams as Christie Ward opened the scoring for Totton on the 39th minute but just after half
time Reiss Greenidge equalised for Slough on 49th minute. The game ended 1-1 but Totton
also finished with 10-men as Tony Lee got sent off towards the end of the game.
Implications of Result:
Saturday offers both sides a lot of hope. For Totton, Saturday offers an opportunity to get
back to winning ways and carry momentum onto their FA Cup clash against Gloucester City
and into the next National League South game away at Dover. Whereas, for Slough it gives
them the chance to put points on the table for the first time this season. It offers Slough the
opportunity have a good showing ahead of their FA Cup game against Chatham followed by
a National League South match against Hemel Hempstead.

Slough Town: Luke Holness
The shining light for Slough. Holness stands as Sloughs’ top goal scorer with 3 goals in their
7 games with 2 goals against Dover and a goal against Hampton & Richmond. Holness will
be looking to add to his tally and offers a threat to the Totton defense.
AFC Totton: Sol Wanjau-Smith
On the left side of the AFC Totton attack, Wanjau-Smith has offered a multitude of
opportunities for the Totton attack and currently sits on 3 assists so far this season. Wanjau-
Smiths’ speed and determination to cut in and create chances through crosses will be a
scary sight for the Slough defense.
