AFC Totton continue their preparations for the 2026/27 National League South season this evening with a short trip across Portsmouth to take on Moneyfields.
The two sides are no strangers, having shared many battles in both the Wessex League and Southern League over the years before their paths diverged. Tonight’s friendly offers another opportunity to renew that familiar rivalry as Scott Rendell’s side continue to build fitness, sharpness and momentum ahead of the new campaign.
As supporters may remember, strike Ryan Pennery made the switch from Moneys to AFC Totton just a handful of years ago, with the players stay at the club being plagued by an ACL injury that limited him to just four first team appearances and 1 goal, a penalty against Gosport Borough in the Hampshire Senior Cup.
Supporters making the journey can expect another valuable test for The Stags, with further minutes in the legs and a chance to continue fine-tuning ahead of the league opener.
